The National Youth Policy Coordinating Committee, in partnership with the National Youth Forum, is inviting members of the general public to a Symposium this Wednesday, August 17, at the Alexandra School, Speightstown, St. Peter, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The symposium is designed to give young people the opportunity to make a final input into the formulation of the Draft National Youth Policy, as the document is further refined for submission to the Minister of Family, Culture, Sports & Youth.

The interactive meeting will involve focus group discussions and reports to plenary sessions. Therefore, youth, and representatives of youth organisations, are especially encouraged to attend and give their suggestions.

Persons who want to peruse the Policy should collect a copy from the Ministry of Family, Culture, Sports and Youth at the Elsie Payne Complex, Constitution Road, St. Michael, or access it electronically by visiting the following websites: http://www.nationalyouthforum.org/, http://www.youthaffairs.gov.bb/ or https://www.gisbarbados.gov.bb/.

Transportation will be provided to the Alexandra School from the Elsie Payne Complex at 8.30 a.m. with a return shuttle to the Princess Alice and Fairchild Street bus terminals after the Symposium.
