The National Library Service continues its community outreach programme with a public lecture on ???Diabetes’ next week.
The session will take place on Thursday, June 24, at the Tamarind Hall branch, Eric Holder Municipal Complex, Blackman’s, St. Joseph, starting at 6:00 p.m.?? It will be delivered by retired health sister, Cynthia Clarke.
Blood pressure and sugar tests will be made available for patrons.?? Persons interested in taking these tests are reminded that they should fast for a minimum of two hours prior to testing.
