Tuberculosis (TB), a deadly communicable disease with symptoms that include weight loss, chest pain, fever, night sweats and coughing, will come under the microscope next month when the Warrens Polyclinic Men’s Health Group meets.
Dr. Manohar Singh, Medical Officer of Health from the Edgar Cochrane Polyclinic, will lead the discussion on "What Is Tuberculosis?" It comes off on Monday, November 9, at the Warrens Polyclinic, starting at 5:30 p.m.
Men in the catchment area of the clinic are specially invited to attend and learn more about this disease, which is spread through the air and by casual contact with people who have contracted it.
