Members of the public are asked to note that a section of Heywoods Beach (North), Heywoods, St. Peter, has been temporarily closed and will remain so until Wednesday, August 15.
This closure is to facilitate waterfront improvements being undertaken by Baird and Associates.
However, the National Conservation Commission advises that the northern entrance to the beach will remain open to the public, while other sections will remain accessible during the period.
As a result of these changes, the public is asked to follow the instructions of personnel from Baird and Associates and those strategically posted on signage delineating the construction area.
Any inconvenience this closure may cause is regretted.
