The main entrance of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) will be temporarily relocated from tomorrow, Tuesday, May 1, as a result of construction work to upgrade the area.

In addition, members of the public are advised that the main reception area, previously closed for renovations, is scheduled to reopen on Friday, June 1.

While the work on the main entrance is in progress, entry to the hospital will be through the glass doors of the Lions Caribbean Eye Care Centre, which can be accessed via the main entrance roadway.??

"We understand the inconvenience, however, it is necessary that this work is done and we look forward to the public’s cooperation," QEH Communications Specialist, Carolyn Williams-Gayle, said. "We appreciate your understanding as we make the necessary hospital upgrades to improve our service to you."
