The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. (FP)

The public is asked to note that effective, Thursday, April 2, the Antenatal Out-Patient Clinic of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) will be relocated to Wards C2 and C3.  These wards are located on the first floor in the hospital’s north wing.

The Haematology Out-Patient Clinic will be relocated to Ward B8, located on the second floor in the hospital’s south wing. Directional signage has been installed to guide patients attending these clinics.

The relocation of the Antenatal and Haematology Out-Patient Clinics is to accommodate the expansion of the Accident and Emergency Department (AED) into these clinic spaces.

Patients presenting to the AED will now undergo the initial medical assessment, i.e., triage under the white tent erected on the exterior of the department.  This measure is being enacted to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus, COVID-19.

Additionally, persons visiting the QEH and the AED are reminded that visitors will be required to submit to a temperature check and sign the visitors’ log book.

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Board of Management regrets any inconvenience caused, and looks forward to your continued cooperation.
