High Commissioners of the Small Realm Countries, including High Commissioner Guy Hewitt, came together to present a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to the Queen and His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales at a private unveiling ceremony at St James??? Palace, London.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II had graciously agreed to the portrait and submitted to sit for the artist, Richard Stone.

The gift marked the milestone on September 9, 2015, when Her Majesty became the longest reigning monarch in British history. The portrait has since been accepted into the Royal Collection.

High Commissioner Hewitt, following the December 8 Christmas Reception at Buckingham Palace, noted that ???the Small Realm Countries are delighted that the Queen has accepted this gesture by us as a fitting tribute to her achievement???.
