The Ministry of Health will continue its fogging programme in three parishes next week.???? It will target St. Peter, St. Philip and St. John from Monday to Friday, from 4:30 until 7:30 p.m. each day.

On Monday, September 5, the team from the Vector Control Unit will visit St. Philip – Long Bay, Long Bay Development, Belair, Belair Cross Road, Crane, Crane Development and the surrounding areas.

The Unit will continue its operations in St. Philip on Tuesday, September 6, and target Rices, Heddings, Foul Bay, Harmony Hall, Ocean City, Johnson Development, Lashleys, Greenpoint, St. Martins and the neighbouring districts.

On Wednesday, September 7, the fogging team will visit St. Philip again and concentrate its efforts on Robinson Land, Ruby Park, Ruby Tenantry, Seaview, Union Park, Jessamy Lane and the environs.

St. John will be visited on Thursday, September 8, and the areas of Pot House, Glebe Land, Colleton, Colleton Gardens, Cliff Cottage, Coach Hill, Welch Village, Bath Hill, Sargeant Street, Haynes Hill, Cottage Land, Palmers and the surrounding areas will be fogged.

Fogging will conclude for the week on Friday, September 9, in St. Peter, when Black Bess, Bakers, Bakers Woods, Sion Hill, Rock Dundo, Upper Carlton and districts nearby will be fogged.

All fogging runs from 4:30 until 7:30 p.m. and householders are asked to assist by opening windows and doors to allow the fog to penetrate.
Persons with respiratory problems should protect themselves from inhaling the fog, while pedestrians and motorists must proceed with caution when encountering fogging operations on the street.??

Parents are instructed to prohibit children from playing in the fog or running behind the fogging machine.
