There will be adequate parking facilities for those persons who will be attending the Ceremonial Parade at the Garrison Savannah next Tuesday, November 30, to mark Barbados’s 44th Anniversary of Independence.

Parking for members of the public will be available at the Barbados Museum and Historical Society’s headquarters and at the Barbados Tourism and Investment Inc’s car park, Lower Bay Street, St. Michael.

In addition, interested persons may collect their tickets from the Defence and Security Division of the Prime Minister’s Office on Bay Street, on Mondays to Fridays, between the hours of 8:15 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

A number of unarmed units and service organisations will participate in the hour and a half long parade which is slated to begin at 8:00 a.m.?? After the parade, the detachments will march from the Garrison Savannah, and proceed along Bay Street and on to Independence Square.
