Persons desirous of being seated at the Beacon Lighting Ceremony, which will be held on Monday, June 4, at the Garrison Savannah, beginning at 5:30 p.m. may now collect their tickets.
Tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis: in the lobby of Government Headquarters, Bay Street, St. Michael, between 8:15 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on weekdays.
The Beacon Lighting Ceremony is being staged as part of activities to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. It will involve a Trooping the Colour Parade by units of the Barbados Defence Force, the lighting of a beacon by two members of the Barbados Boys’ Scouts Association, and a Tattoo by members of the Royal Barbados Police Force. All are invited.
