Members of the public are asked to note that there are no more tickets available for the coastal walk scheduled for Saturday, April 21. The event will see walkers journeying along the coastline starting at Cove Bay at 3:00 p.m. to River Bay, St. Lucy.
Tickets are required for persons travelling by bus transportation which will be provided from Browne’s Beach, Carlisle Bay (by the old CZMU car park) on Bay Street, St. Michael, where participants are asked to meet 1:45 p.m. as buses will leave at 2:00 p.m. sharp. Buses are expected to return to Browne’s Beach by 7:00 p.m.
Participants are reminded that they should wear loose clothing and sturdy shoes, such as hiking shoes or sneakers, suitable for walking through rough terrain. Anyone wearing inappropriate footwear, such as slippers, will not be allowed to board the bus.
