An outreach programme, entitled the "Development of Tourism Micro Projects in Barbados", will be staged tomorrow, Thursday, September 27, at the Cricket Legends of Barbados, Fontabelle, St. Michael. It will get under way at 3.00 p.m.

Designed as a way to highlight tourism projects, it will feature Multilateral Investment Specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Marco Macias, who will speak on the topic: Microfinance: Supporting Small Businesses Creating Big Opportunities.

??The showcase is funded in part by the IDB, the Ministry of Tourism and the Small Business Association and is a precursor to Foromic – the annual microfinance and microenterprise development event in Latin America and the Caribbean. This year, it will be held in Barbados over three days, beginning on October 1, at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.

The outreach event will conclude with a networking session. All are invited.
