The momentum gained from the Ministry of Tourism’s recently held town hall meetings and youth forum to discuss the future of the industry, will be given new life with a series of roundtable consultations, beginning Wednesday, March 2.
Round Table Discussion One will feature the theme ???Tourism Product Development: People’.?? It will allow key stakeholders within the sector to give their thoughts and opinions on the development of a White Paper on Tourism Development so as to establish a National Tourism Policy for Barbados.?? This document will then facilitate the creation of a Tourism Master Plan 2012-2021.
The event is part of the Ministry’s holistic approach to policy development in tourism and ensuring that all Barbadians have the opportunity to be heard with regard to the future of the sector.????
