As part of its efforts to discourage illegal dumping in gullies, the Ministry of Tourism will launch a “Tourism in the Gully” series this Saturday, October 4, with a one-hour tour of the Jack-in-the-Box Gully, St. Thomas, starting at 10:00 a.m.

Aimed at exposing locals and visitors to the “beauty and usefulness” of the gully ecosystem, the programme will also educate individuals on the geography of the gully, its flora and fauna.

Persons interested in participating are asked to assemble at the Aerial Trek Zipline car park in St. Thomas by 9:30 a.m.

Participants can collect tickets from the Ministry of Tourism, Sherbourne Conference Centre, by this Friday, October 3.
