Residents and business persons in Belleville will soon have the opportunity to discuss a number of conservation ideas for the area.
It will come in the form of a town hall meeting on Wednesday, June 15, at the St. Michael School, Martindales Road, St. Michael, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
The meeting is designed to discuss the Local Area Plan for the Belleville Conservation Area, which is being prepared by the Town and Country Development Planning Office.
The Draft Belleville Plan is available for viewing at selected venues in the district: The Mosque, 6th Avenue Belleville; Sagicor Financial Centre, 1st Avenue Belleville; The George Street Auditorium, George Street; and at the home of resident Alfred Hutson, Baycroft Gap, Pine Road, St. Michael.
It can also be viewed at the Town and Country Development Planning Office, Block ???C’, The Garrison and on the website http://www.townplanning.gov.bb, or interested persons may call the department at 467-3000.
