Barbadians are being encouraged to attend the first town hall meeting on the draft Green Paper on children and family law reform in Barbados tomorrow, Friday, March 15, at the Princess Margaret Secondary School, St. Philip, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

This is the first in a series of meetings being facilitated by the Family Section of the Ministry of Social Care, Constituency Empowerment and Community Development and Attorney-at-Law and Legal Consultant, Faith Marshall-Harris, who has been retained to guide the reform process.

Mrs. Marshall-Harris is on record as saying that the law reform proposals are going to be far-reaching and will try to give effect to many of the island’s social norms. She has urged Barbadians, including young people between the ages of 15 and 18, to attend and participate in the session.
