The Thorne Commission on Local Governance will be hosting a series of town hall meetings on the establishment of people assemblies, a platform which will allow Barbadians to have a greater say in national affairs.

Interested persons are invited to attend, share their views and have their questions answered.

The first meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 6, at the Graydon Sealy Secondary School, Paddock Road, St. Michael. The next will be on Wednesday, November 13, at the Darryl Jordan Secondary School, Trents, St. Lucy.

On Wednesday, November 27, the town hall meeting will be at the Princess Margaret Secondary School, Six Cross Roads, St. Philip, while the final meeting will be on Wednesday, December 4, at the West Terrace Primary School, West Terrace, St. James.

All meetings will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
