The Ministry of Energy and Water Resources will host its first town hall meeting to receive additional feedback on the 2020 Water Protection and Land Use Zoning Policy Green Paper.

It will take place this Thursday, July 23, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Queen’s College, Husbands, St. James.  With social distancing protocols in place, the meeting can accommodate a maximum of 35 persons.

The Green Paper on the 2020 Water Protection and Land Use Zoning Policy was prepared by the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources, in collaboration with the Barbados Water Authority.  It may be viewed on the Ministry’s website, or by clicking here.

Alternately, reference copies of the document are available for viewing at any branch of the National Library Service.

Copies are also available for collection at The Ministry of Energy and Water Resources, Trinity Business Centre, Country Road, St. Michael, and The Barbados Water Authority, Pine Commercial Estate, The Pine, St. Michael.

Members of the public may continue to submit their comments on the document via email to policy@energy.gov.bb.
