The public will get an opportunity to share their views on the future of Barbados’ major industry when the Ministry of Tourism begins its series of town hall meetings to discuss the future of the Development of Tourism White Paper.

The series of meetings will begin on Thursday, November 25 at the Alexandra School, St. Peter; then, on Thursday, December 2 at the St. Lawrence Primary School, Christ Church and Monday, December 6 at the Princess Margaret Secondary School, St. Philip.?? All meetings will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

A Discussion Paper was prepared to help frame the dialogue for the development of the White Paper, which provides an in-depth analysis of current international and national practices and policies as they pertain to tourism development and destination management.?? This Discussion Paper is available online at http://www.tourism.gov.bb/, at post offices and libraries and at Super Centre JBs, Sargeant’s Village, Super Centre, Warrens, Emerald City Supermarket, Six Roads and Carlton Supermarket, Black Rock.
