Barbadians will have an opportunity to share their views about the future of Barbados’ major industry, when the Ministry of Tourism hosts a series of town hall meetings to discuss the Development of the Tourism White Paper.

Meetings will begin on Thursday, November 25, at the Alexandra School, St. Peter; then, on Thursday, December 2, at the St. Lawrence Primary School, Christ Church; and Monday, December 6, at the Princess Margaret Secondary School,??St. Philip.?? All sessions will take place from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

A Discussion Paper, was created to identify, evaluate and analyse current tourism policy on the island.?? It serves as the precursor to the White Paper, and will be available from Monday, November 22, at all post offices and libraries, as well as Super Centre JBs, Sargeant’s Village; Super Centre, Warrens; Emerald City Supermarket, Six Roads and Carlton and A1 Supermarket, Black Rock.?? It will also be accessible at the Ministry’s website, http://www.tourism.gov.bb/, where persons will also have the opportunity to post comments.??
