Barbadians are being urged to come out and share their views and concerns about the future of tourism as the Ministry of Tourism continues its series of town hall meetings this week.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, January 26, at the Princess Margaret Secondary School Six Roads, St. Philip, at 7:00 p.m.??

Topics of concern which were raised at previous meetings, included beach access, the identification of new tourist markets, greater assistance for small business persons and increased opportunities for workers in the hotel industry.

The series was created as a forum for persons to speak about the current state of the industry, and information gathered will be used to inform the Ministry’s development of a White Paper on tourism development.????nekaelia.hutchinson@barbados.gov.bb
