The Barbados Defence Force’s Field Medical Facility is presently camped, as the team prepares for Phase Two of Exercise Tradewinds 2019 (EX TW19), starting tomorrow, Monday, June 17.

Lead planner for EX TW19, Douglas Fitzgerald, from the United States Southern Command, was the first to visit the facility based at the Biabou Playing Field in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

He was followed by Staff Officer for EX TW19 at the Regional Security System Headquarters, Major Ryan Smith, and Deputy Commissioner of Police in SVG and Director of EX TW 19 Phase Two, Frankie Joseph.

They were each taken on a tour of the campsite by Project Manager for the BDF’s FMF, Major Junior Browne, to get an understanding of the facility and its operations. (BDF Field Medical Facility)
