In order to facilitate preparations for the Tribute to the Prime Ministers of Barbados, a number of traffic changes will be in effect from 5:30 p.m. today, Tuesday, April 26, until 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 28.

Broad Street, from its junction with Prince William Henry Street to its junction with High Street, as well as Trafalgar Street, will be closed to vehicular traffic.
However, Wharf Road will close from 5:30 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, April 27.

Motorists travelling on River Road with the intention of accessing Wharf Road will be diverted on to John Beckles Drive.

Those travelling on Lower Fairchild Street with the intention of accessing Wharf Road will be diverted on to Probyn Street or Upper Fairchild Street. In addition, persons travelling on Upper Fairchild Street with the intention of accessing Wharf Road will be diverted on to Probyn Street.

Signage will be in place directing motorists on how to proceed at the Holborn/Spring Garden Junction; the Lakes Folly/Fontabelle Junction; the Hart Street/Cowell Street Junction (near City Centre Car Park); and the Hincks Street/ Prince Alfred Street Junction.
