The Independence Ceremonial Parade will take place at the Kensington Oval on Saturday, November 30. As a result, the following traffic changes will be in effect in St. Michael, between 5:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Fontabelle Road, from its junction with Lakes Folly and Redman Drive to its junction with President Kennedy Drive and the Mighty Grynner Highway, (Holborn Circle) will be one-way in the direction of the Mighty Grynner Highway.

President Kennedy Drive, from its junction with Westbury Road to its junction with Holborn Circle, will be closed to all vehicular traffic, except public service vehicles.

No vehicle will be allowed to park or remain stationary on any of the following roads or the adjoining footpaths, except for the purpose of picking up or setting down passengers: Fontabelle Road; Westbury Road; President Kennedy Drive; Cheapside Road; Redman Drive; Prescod Boulevard; the roadway leading to Hanschell Inniss; Pickwick Gap; University Row; Mighty Grynner Highway; and Kensington New Road.

Any person who contravenes these rules or fails to comply with any order given by a member of the Royal Barbados Police Force in uniform is guilty of an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of $500, or to imprisonment for a term of three months.
