The public is advised that several traffic changes will be in effect on Thursday, November 30, in order to facilitate the Our Diamond – The Rihanna Drive Project, which will take place on Westbury New Road, St. Michael.

From 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 30, Westbury Road and Westbury New Road will be closed to all vehicular traffic.

As a result, motorists entering Westbury Road from the direction of President Kennedy Drive must divert past Pounders Gap, while motorists entering Westbury Road from the direction of Deacons Road must divert at 2nd Avenue Parris Gap.

Persons exiting Grants Gap on to Westbury Road must turn right, while those motorists exiting 2nd Avenue Parris Gap on to Westbury Road must turn left.  Vehicles will not be allowed to enter Westbury New Road from Morris Gap or Blanch Gap.

Public service vehicles who ply Westbury Road as part of their route will be re-routed to bypass Westbury Road by using Spring Garden Highway and turning right on to Exmouth and left on to Deacons Road.

Invited guests are asked to approach Westbury Road from the direction of President Kennedy Drive and enter Westbury Cemetery through the south gate to the allotted parking area. When leaving the event, they will exit through the north gate.

Two-way vehicular traffic will be permitted on Pounders Gap, Grants Gap, 1st Avenue Parris Gap, 2nd Avenue Parris Gap, Morris Gap and Blanch Gap.
