To facilitate the easy flow of traffic in and around Constitution Road, the Royal Barbados Police Force has implemented a number of changes for Agrofest 2012, which will take place from February 24 to 26 in Queen’s Park.

On both days, vehicles travelling to Constitution Road via the Mencea Cox roundabout, from Halls Road or Martindales Road will only be allowed to turn onto John Beckles Drive and Nursery Drive.

Vehicles going onto Constitution Road, via Crumpton Street are advised that they will be allowed access as far as the Governor General’s Gate, Queens Park.

These traffic changes will be in effect from Friday, February 24 to Sunday, February 26, from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Parking will not be allowed in the following areas: Constitution Road, Halls Road, Martindales Road, Belmont Road, John Beckles Drive, Nursery Drive, Ellis Road, Crumpton Street, and Roebuck Street from Weymouth to the traffic lights at its junction with Crumpton Street and Pinfold Street.

Police officers will be on patrol and stationed at various roads and junctions to manage pedestrian and motor vehicular traffic.
