During this period of national pause, some public officers will get an opportunity to upgrade their skills and improve their knowledge about Government’s Performance Review and Development System (PRDS).

PRDS and You is aself-directed online course for officers who are not required to supervise staff.  It will be held from February 15 to March 12.

The course will cover: What is Performance Management; Benefits of PRDS; The PRDS Cycles; and Rewards and Performance Improvement, among others.

The Team Leading course will be conducted from February 15 to 18, and the participants are expected to include Senior Clerks, Assistant Accountants, Executive Officers and Secretaries.

Participants will be provided with competencies to give direction to their teams, as well as motivate and support them to achieve their objectives and individual goals.

Some of the topics to be examined are: Essentials of Team Leading, Public Service Rules and Regulations, Conditions of Service, and Managing Conflict and the Grievance Handling Procedure.
