The Barbados Vocational Training Board (BVTB) is set to launch its new website next week and this is expected to offer several new features to the public.

From Monday, November 16, visitors to http://www.bvtb.gov.bb/ will be able to view the full list of courses available at each training centre, download forms and find out the cost of training courses where applicable.

They will also be able to keep up-to-date with events which are being hosted by the Board.

Officials at the BVTB said the new website was part of efforts to take full advantage of online technology and decentralise the application process for its clients.

The Barbados Vocational Training Board is mandated to provide training to young Barbadians in a number of technical/vocational areas, including Tiling, Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, Auto-body Repair, Auto-mechanics, Horticulture and Landscaping, Joinery, Housekeeping, Electrical Installation, Air-conditioning and Refrigeration, Masonry and Screen Printing.
