The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security will continue its training sessions for farmers with a Rabbit Rearing Workshop on Wednesday, August 29.
The workshop will be held in the CARDI building located at the Ministry, Graeme Hall, Christ Church, from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
According to Officer-in-Charge of Extensions, Barney Callender, the objective of the session is to “help farmers to help themselves”. He explained that the workshop will cover areas such as breed selection; housing; disease prevention and control; feeding; and general husbandry.
Farmers, as well as all persons interested in rabbit rearing, are invited to attend.
