Government is expected to roll out a four-week training programme for over 350 clients of the Trust Loan Fund Unit from next week.

The first phase, which is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, January 23, will be conducted at the Small Business Association’s Building # 4, Harbour Industrial Estate, with courses to be held at various intervals during the day. It will target entrepreneurs in the retail, tourism, agricultural, manufacturing and services sectors.

The training will be facilitated by the Small Business Association in conjunction with the Unit and will see clients gaining knowledge in areas such as Elements of Management, Financial Literacy, Marketing The Business and Customer Service Techniques.

Minister of Small Business, Entrepreneurship and Commerce, Dwight Sutherland, will deliver opening remarks at the official start of the training at 9:30 a.m., while Manager of the Trust Loan Fund Unit, Jerry Amos, is expected to welcome participants.
