Young people will soon have another opportunity to hone their skills in the performing and visual arts.

Persons between the ages of 16 and 29 should register now to participate in the Youth Achieving Results training programme. In the area of visual arts, participants will learn to make jewellery and bags, while those in the performing arts will be exposed to music, technical theatre, drama, dance and personal development.

Interested persons should register at the Division of Family and Youth, Ministry of Family, Culture, Sports and Youth, Mall Internationale, Haggatt Hall, St. Michael, by Tuesday, October 30. Additional information may be obtained by calling Wendy Holder or Petra Haynes at 621-2705 or 621-2700.

The nine-month programme is administered by the Youth Development Programme of the Division of Family and Youth and the National Cultural Foundation.
