This programme is aimed at developing a cadre of well trained and competent individuals who will deliver training to parents and prospective parents, so as to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to have healthy relationships with their children.

At the end, participants should be able to identify and utilise the positive parenting traits they have learnt in an effort to enhance the quality of family life across the island.??????

The five modules to be taught during the session are: Parenting, Coping and Managing, Finding Self, Seeking Help and Action Planning. Over 50 people have already been trained and they are delivering a series of seminars in the community on Positive Parenting Skills.??saustin@barbados.gov.bb
