Over 50 youth, between ages 16 and 24, stand to benefit from training being provided by the Ministry of Labour and Social Partnership Relations next week.

The Ministry, through its Job Start Plus initiative, will host a training workshop to familiarize youth about this programme that aims to provide them with valuable workplace skills and knowledge.

The workshop will be held in the Lecture Theatre, 1st Floor Warrens Office Complex, St. Michael, from Monday, December 9, to Friday, December 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily.

Training will focus on work force preparation and personal development skills and will include areas such as Effective Communication; Personal BrandingWork EthicsResume WritingEffective Job Search Strategies and Interview Techniques.

Minister Colin Jordan will deliver welcome remarks at the start of the training on Monday, December 9, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
