The Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Pan American Health Organisation (PAHO), will host a two-day training session in the use of reporting tools, for the polyclinic information system.

The training, which will run from May 18 to 19, will be held at the PAHO headquarters, Dayrells Road from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

It is the first of many such seminars, which will be organised over the next two years, and will target officers working in the field of information gathering and reporting, within the health sector.

The goal of the programme is to strengthen the information culture within the Ministry of Health in evidence-based decision making.?? It also aims to enhance the skills, knowledge and practices of managers in the use of information for decision making.
