Some 50 local artisans and contractors stand to benefit from a one-week workshop to be held here later this month.
Entitled, “Management Techniques for Small Artisans and Contractors”, the exercise, which comes off from April 21 to 25 at the Accra Beach Hotel, is being co-sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Commerce, the Caribbean Development Bank, the Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic and the Barbados Vocational Training Board.
It is designed to help artisans and contractors develop competencies that will promote successful entrepreneurial and business practices.
A maximum of 50 participants will be accommodated at the workshop which will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.
