When the Trident Run sets off from Independence Square tomorrow, Thursday, January 21, at 3:00 p.m., several sites along the route on which National Hero, the Right Excellent Errol Walton Barrow, left an indelible mark, will be acknowledged.

Among those institutions are Parliament, Government Headquarters, the Cruising Club, the Hilton Hotel; the Military Cemetery, where some of his ashes are buried, the Garrison, Culloden Farm and Ilaro Court.

Members of the public are being encouraged to line the route, and to especially assemble at music points which will be established at Independence Square, Springer Memorial Secondary, the Emancipation Statue and Valley Resource Centre to cheer on the runners.

The Trident Run will culminate at the Glebe playing field, St. George at 5:00 p.m., and will be followed by a Sunset Community Concert featuring the St. George Secondary School Orchestra, The Alleyne School Concert Band, Barbados Community College Boyz Band – The Men, 1688 Student Band, Harrison College Pop School Band, among other acts.
