Twelve students from three secondary schools will receive recognition for their outstanding performance in the inaugural Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture’s (IICA) Youth Farm Programme.

The participating schools were St. George Secondary, the St. Lucy Secondary and the Grantley Adams Memorial.

The students will be awarded Full Certification in the National Vocational Qualification – Amenity Horticulture Level 1, on Wednesday, October 31, at 9:30 a.m. in IICA’s Conference Room, Baobab Building, Warrens, St. Michael, after completion of a six-week programme.

IICA partnered with the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Council and the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development to host the Young Farm Programme.??
