Members of the Lower House will meet tomorrow, Tuesday, March 2, to debate three items on the Order Paper.

Prime Minister and Minister of Finance David Thompson, will move a Resolution to grant the sum of $2 040 000 to be taken from the Consolidated Fund to be used by Government to supplement the Estimates 2009 -2010.This is indicated in the Supplementary Estimates No. 10, which form the Schedule to the Resolution.

Mr. Thompson will also table the First Reading of the National Insurance and Social Security (Amendment) Bill, 2010.

Deputy Prime Minister, Attorney General and Minister of Home Affairs, Freundel Stuart, will pilot the First Reading of the Penal System Reform (Amendment) Bill, 2010.It will make provision for the High Court, the Court of Appeal and the Caribbean Court of Justice to award compensation for personal injury, loss or damage resulting from an offence for which a conviction has been entered and to provide for related matters. clashley@barbados.gov.bb
