Two days of fogging in St. Philip will be part of the Ministry of Health’s programme next week.

When fogging begins Monday, February 1, the team from the Vector Control Unit will, start in St. Joseph at Lammings, Braggs Hill, Sugar Hill, Yearwood Road, Coffee Gully and, Branchbury.

The following day,??Tuesday,??February 2, the team begins its first fogging of St. Philip, with visits to Kirtons, Heddings, Heddings Circle, Heddings Development, Heddings New Road, Foul Bay, Sargeants Park, Greenidge Road, St. Martins and their environs.

A return to St. Philip on Wednesday, February 3, will see fogging at Nursery #1 & #2, Sunny Meadows Development, Four Roads, Mangrove Land, Kirtons, Mangrove Terrace, Grange Road and their surroundings.

On Thursday, February 4, the attention will be on St. George. The districts to be fogged are: Cottage Tenantry, Retreat, Newbury, Moscow, Superlative, St. Judes, Rock Hall, Macaroni Village, Todds Tenantry, Drax Hall, Prerogative, Greens with all Avenues, Byer Road and their environs.

Fogging concludes on Friday, February 5, with a visit to St. Michael. Areas to be sprayed are: Grazettes Housing Area, Grazettes Landing Scheme, Long Gap, Piedmont Park, Spooners Hill, Thompson Gap, White Hall Main Road, Bridge Gap, St. Stephen’s Hill, Cave Hill Housing Area, Phillips Land, Grazettes New Road and their environs.

All fogging runs from 4:30 until 7:30 p.m. and householders are asked to assist by opening windows and doors to allow the fog to penetrate.

Persons with respiratory problems should protect themselves from inhaling the fog. Pedestrians and motorists are asked to proceed with caution when encountering fogging operations on the street.

Parents are instructed to prohibit children from playing in the fog or running behind the fogging machine.
