VCT coordinators from the Ministry will provide, in addition to counselling and testing, educational materials and condoms to patrons, who will also be entertained through drama that will address issues of HIV and AIDS.

On the designated Day, Saturday, June 27, the teams from the Health Ministry will journey to Emerald City Supermarket, Six Roads, St. Philip and Marhill Street, Parliament Square and Jubilee Gardens in the city to continue the exercise, which targets 1500 people. This will occur from 9.00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

An added feature of VCT on the two days, will be the involvement of the Mobile Unit which will visit some night spots and encourage patrons to ???Get Tested’.

The Ministry will be joined in its efforts by medical students and junior doctors, who will offer much needed assistance with phlebotomy, on both days.

Members of the public are encouraged to visit the locations and ascertain their HIV status during the VCT campaign for Regional Testing Day.
