Barbados has recorded two more confirmed cases of Influenza A (H1N1). The Ministry of Health revealed this today during its weekly update on the prevalence of the disease locally.

This figure brings the total number of confirmed cases for the island to 12.??The latest cases are females ages three and 18 years. Both are reported to be recovering well under home isolation.

The World Health Organisation has disclosed that as at July 1, 2009, some 120 countries had reported 77,201 cases, including 332 deaths.
