The public is advised that the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic, Warrens, St. Michael and the Glebe Polyclinic, Glebe, St. George will remain closed for the remainder of the day due to the challenges being experienced as a result of the island-wide power outages.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness has advised persons who would normally attend these two polyclinic pharmacies to have their prescriptions filled that this service is available at the Winston Scott Polyclinic Pharmacy until further notice.

Meanwhile, in a status report on government health services following the outages, the Ministry reported that the Queen Elizabeth Hospital experienced minimal disruption to clinical services and was, therefore, functioning with the use of generators.

All district hospitals, the Psychiatric Hospital, the Ladymeade Reference Unit, the Best dos Santos Laboratory and all other polyclinics were opened and functioning normally.
