Leader of Government Business, Ronald Jones??(FP)??

When Parliament meets tomorrow, Tuesday February 23, there are two items on the Order Paper to be debated.

Leader of Government Business, Ronald Jones, will pilot the passing of a Resolution for $9,014 038 to be taken from the Consolidated Fund to be used by Government to supplement the Estimates 2009-2010. This is indicated in the Supplementary Estimates No. 8 2009-2010, which form the Schedule to the Resolution. He will also request that the explanatory notes to Head 62 be amended as set out in schedule II to the Resolution.

In turn, Deputy Prime Minister, Attorney General and Minister of Home Affairs, Freundel Stuart, will table the First Reading of the Penal System Reform (Amendment) Bill, 2010. This measure will make provision for the High Court, the Court of Appeal and the Caribbean Court of Justice to award compensation for personal injury, loss or damage resulting from an offence for which a conviction has been entered and to provide for related matters.
