The tax filing demonstrations will help persons learn how to file their income tax returns in the new Tax Administration Management Information System (TAMIS). (BRA)

Members of the public are reminded that two of the five tax filing demonstrations to help persons learn how to file their income tax return in the new Tax Administration Management Information System (TAMIS) will be held this week.

The demonstrations, which have been organized by the Barbados Revenue Authority, will be on Wednesday, April 3, at the Deighton Griffith School, Kingsland, Christ Church; and on Thursday, April 4, at Alexandra School, Queen’s Street, St. Peter.  All sessions will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Online filing of personal income tax for 2018 will be done from Monday, April 8, in TAMIS, which is a revenue management system designed to more comprehensively administer the online tax portfolio in Barbados.  It will offer users a simpler way of filing, improved customer experience, and real-time information will be made available on the website.
