The Urban Development Commission (UDC) has been informed that persons are visiting its clients’ properties purporting to be employees of the Commission.

As a result, the UDC has advised clients that officers carrying out business on its behalf should present valid company identification.

An official at the Commission has further stated that clients who have any concerns should call 417-1420, before providing employees with information or granting access to their home.

The spokesperson reminded the public that the Urban Development Commission is committed to the safety of its employees, clients and the community, and encouraged everyone to be security conscious.
