Prime Minister Freundel Stuart was the "man of the moment" for 47 campers from Unique Helping Hands Summer Camp, who were overjoyed to greet and chat with the island’s top leader at his official residence.

During a tour of Ilaro Court today, the Prime Minister fielded questions from the inquisitive bunch including the date for the next general elections, which are constitutionally due by April next year.

Mr. Stuart, impressed with the intellect of the children quipped, "I don’t even have the answer to that…,"

The Prime Minister also tested the campers’ knowledge about Ilaro Court, the names and number of Prime Ministers elected to office and spoke about the importance of going to school.

"Going to school is very important as well as doing your lessons and preparing for the future.?? As much as you may not like school and don’t want to go back, you have to go back and do your work," Mr. Stuart advised.

Unique Helping Hands Summer Camp is based at Harrison College and according to Assistant Camp Director, Nadine Parris, the children toured places of interest such as the Caribbean Development Bank, the Barbados Vocational Training Board and the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, Campus.
