For St. John residents, May represents month-long celebrations, and the St. John Parish Independence Committee will host several activities to mark the occasion.

The activities will commence on Saturday, May 8, and Sunday, May 9, with a Day of Prayer for St. John.  All churches across the island are invited to participate.

The activities continue on Friday, May 21, and Saturday, May 22, with Plant St. John Plant; an initiative designed to encourage residents to plant a tree or kitchen garden; take a photo and post to their social media platforms.

From Thursday, May 27, to Saturday, May 29, residents in the areas of Clifton Hall, Church View & Massiah Street, are encouraged to clean their premises and get rid of bulk waste for the initiative, Clean-up St. John.

To keep abreast of the committee’s activities, be sure to follow their social media platforms @st.johnparishambassadors on Instagram and St. John Parish Ambassadors on Facebook.
