A new website will be launched this week to aid students in their preparation for Caribbean Examinations Council certification.
It is http://uwitube.com/, a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development and the University of the West Indies (UWI), Cave Hill Campus. It will be launched this Wednesday, November 7, in the Main Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Principal’s Office Building, UWI, Cave Hill.
This web resource will provide solutions to Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) problems in several subject areas, commencing with Mathematics.
Minister of Education and Human Resource Development, Ronald Jones and Principal of UWI, Cave Hill Campus, Professor Sir Hilary Beckles, will address the event, which starts at 10:00 a.m.
Prior to its launch, representatives from Mathematics Department in secondary schools will be given the opportunity to discuss the structure and guidelines of this initiative with Senior Lecturer in the Electronics Laboratory, Dr. Janak Sodha.
