The Immunisation Unit encourages the public to take note of its vaccination schedule for Monday, August 23, to Wednesday, August 25.

The Unit will continue with its open days for persons 18 years and over who are desirous of receiving either the Pfizer or Sinopharm vaccines.  They will be allowed to walk into the vaccination centres without an appointment.

Additionally, those individuals who received the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine are also invited to walk into any of the sites this week to receive their second dose of the vaccine.

The sites operating on Monday, August 23, are the Masonic Centre, Salters, St. George; Building No. 2, Harbour Industrial Park, St. Michael; Bayley’s Primary School, Merricks, St. Philip; Harrison College, Crumpton Street, St. Michael; Sharon Moravian Church Hall, Sharon, St. Thomas; Eunice Gibson Polyclinic, Warrens, St. Michael, and the Sea Rocks Dome, Maxwell Coast Road, Christ Church.

The Sea Rocks Dome will begin administering the Pfizer vaccine from 11:00 a.m., while first doses of the Sinopharm and second doses of the AstraZeneca will start from 10:00 a.m.

On Tuesday, August 24, the Masonic Centre; Sea Rocks Dome; Building No. 2, Harbour Industrial Park; the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Mile-and-a-Quarter, St. Peter; Bayley’s Primary School; Harrison College; Sharon Moravian Church Hall, and the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic will be open to administer vaccinations.

The Masonic Centre, Sea Rocks Dome; Building No. 2, Harbour Industrial Park; the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Mile-and-a-Quarter; Bayley’s Primary School; Sharon Moravian Church Hall, and the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic will operate on Wednesday, August 25. All vaccination sites will run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day.
