The Immunisation Unit is encouraging the public to familiarise themselves with the vaccination schedule for Saturday, September 4, to Saturday, September 11.

Vaccinations for students and adults continue at a number of designated sites this week.  The Unit advises all students who wish to be vaccinated against COVID-19 that they are required to present their identification cards.  Additionally, parents who are not yet vaccinated, and wish to be, may do so with their children, while on site.

The AstraZeneca, Sinopharm and Pfizer vaccines will be available at all of the vaccination centres.  Persons may walk into the sites to receive the vaccine of their choice.

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 4

The school site operating tomorrow, Saturday, September 4, will be the Christ Church Parish Church Hall, Church Hill, Christ Church.

The non-school sites are Building No.2, Harbour Industrial Park, Bridgetown, and the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic, Warrens, St. Michael.

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 5

On Sunday, September 5, the school site operating will be the Alleyne School, Belleplaine, St. Andrew. 

While the non-school site will be Building No. 2, Harbour Industrial Park.

MONDAY SEPTEMBER 6

On Monday, September 6, the following school sites will be open: Harrison College, Crumpton Street, St. Michael; Princess Margaret Secondary School, Six Roads, St. Philip; Christ Church Parish Church Hall; Sharon Moravian Church Hall, Sharon, St. Thomas, and The Alleyne School.

The non-school vaccination centres for that day will be: Building No.2 Harbour Industrial Park; the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic, the Masonic Centre, Salters, St. George, and the Winston Scott Polyclinic, Jemmotts Lane, St. Michael.

TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 7

Those school sites operating on Tuesday, September 7, will be: Princess Margaret Secondary School; Christ Church Parish Church Hall; Sharon Moravian Church Hall; the Tamarind Hall Library at the Eric Holder Complex, Blackmans, St. Joseph, and The Lodge School, Society, St. John.

The non-school sites will be: Building No. 2 Harbour Industrial Park, the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic, and the Masonic Centre.

WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 8

Vaccinations will be administered at the following school sites on Wednesday, September 8: Harrison College; Princess Margaret Secondary School; the Christ Church Parish Church Hall; Sharon Moravian Church Hall, and the Tamarind Hall Library at the Eric Holder Complex.

The non-school sites will be: Building No.2 Harbour Industrial Park, the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic, the Winston Scott Polyclinic, and the Masonic Centre.

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 9

On Thursday, September 9, Harrison College, Princess Margaret Secondary School; Christ Church Parish Church Hall; Sharon Moravian Church Hall, and Alexandra School, Queen’s Street, St. Peter, are the school sites that will be operational.

The non-school sites will be Building No.2 Harbour Industrial Park, the Winston Scott Polyclinic, and the Masonic Centre.

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 10

The school site for Friday, September 10, will be The Lodge School.

The non-school sites will be Building No.2 Harbour Industrial Park, the Masonic Centre, the Winston Scott Polyclinic, and Upstairs Sky Mall, Haggatt Hall, St. Michael.

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 11

On Saturday, September 11, the sites will be Building No.2 Harbour Industrial Park and Upstairs Sky Mall.

All sites run from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily.  However, the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic will operate from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Wednesday.    

COVID-19 vaccinations will be administered at the Winston Scott Polyclinic from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.      

Meanwhile, the Unit encourages persons who have passed the eight-week mark since their first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine to go to any site for the second dose.
